Admissions
The New England College of Optometry welcomes you and other students from
throughout the United States and abroad, who possess the academic
qualifications and desire for a rewarding career in Optometry.
Outstanding candidates are evaluated on academic performance as well as
recommendations, essays and admission interviews.
We accept 100 plus students into our four-year Doctor of Optometry degree
program each September. In 2006, the College received 683 applications
from qualified candidates.
Only those students who have a good chance of graduating and performing as
competent and caring Optometrists, are admitted to our program. The
College takes great pride in its high rate of retention.
As a small College, we believe strongly in working with you and other students
