The New England College of Optometry enjoys a close affiliation with the Wenzhou Medical College in Wenzhou, China. The MS/OD China Degree Program results in a MS in Vision Science from Wenzhou Medical College, China, and a OD degree from NECO. Applicants are required to have a five-year Bachelor of Medicine degree with an emphasis on optometry or ophthalmology. They must also meet the admissions requirements of both colleges. The course of study may take four to five years, with one to one-and-a-half years in the United States.
Prospective applicants must be enrolled at Wenzhou Medical College to enter the MS/OD China Program.
