NECO provides patient-centered, clinically relevant continuing education to support lifelong learning for optometrists. While presenting new and current information, we encourage our colleagues to continue to provide an enhanced level of care to their patients and community. These continuing education events provide opportunities to build your network of fellow alumni, clinicians, vision scientists, and industry professionals.
The Office of Alumni Relations sponsors two series of Continuing Education opportunities. To learn more about these CE opportunities, select one of the following:
- HomeTown Series, dinner lectures held in alumni communities throughout the country
- Sunday Seminar Series, a series of seminars about a variety of optometric topics which augment clinical skills and excellence in patient care.
In achieving our mission we offer, an array of contemporary courses in varied formats, practical learning options employing state-of-the-art technologies that meet the needs of professionals, and programs that address diverse patient groups and practice settings.
In addition to these opportunities, NECO also offers additional continuing education open to students, faculty and alumni. This includes Online Continuing Education, a series of online case studies available on-demand for COPE approved CE credit.
Note: NECO alumni are eligible to receive complimentary CE through our online continuing education programs.
