We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative / Application Specialist - Ophthalmic to profitably grow sales and support key products. Position Responsibilities:

The key duties for which the employee is accountable are as follows:

Perform outbound prospecting to identify and nurture new opportunities for Ophthalmic Diagnostic Instruments.

Meet targets for contacts
Follow up to nurture new sales leads and move along the sales process

Conduct virtual product demonstrations on key products to foster the sales process
Virtually in-service (train) customers and distributor representatives on company manufactured medical device equipment, according to company standards, to include: Refraction, Diagnostic, and Tonometry products
Provide territory support to customers (after sales support) via telephone or email with regards to training, applications, troubleshooting/product complaints
Verify correct connectivity configuration with customers prior to installations
Follow up with recent install sites to ensure customer satisfaction
Enter all valid contacts are entered into a company sponsored CRM database
Participate in daily interaction including meetings, events and communications
Provide applications support at conventions or meetings
Thoroughly complete and submit any paperwork necessary with regards to complaints, product complaints or complications from a training or applications-perspective.
Attend and participate in product training or product upgrade training meetings.
Assist the sales team with clinical support to support sales efforts.
Build internal relationships within the company including sales, marketing, and customer service.
Design and deliver of training programs for Reichert teams
Build and maintain expertize on Reichert products
Participate in selected industry groups (in person and on line).


Position Requirements:

The education, experience, skills and training required of the employee for this position are summarized as follows:

Minimum of Associates Degree – Bachelors preferred; in Marketing or Ophthalmics

Experience with refraction and Ophthalmic Instruments– Optometrist, trained Refractionist, or Optician with strong refraction experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Inside sales experience preferred

Ability to provide both Sales Opportunity Funnel Growth & Sales Growth

Experience with CRM systems for managing contacts and the sales process

Ability to travel approximately 10%

Depew, NY siting preferred; no relocation program
